Our Youth Ministries include both Junior and Senior High groups.
Club JAM is the name of the Junior High Ministry, grades 6, 7 and 8. JAM stands for “Jesus and Me.” Our focus is to challenge the students to make their faith their own by concentrating on a daily walk with God. Club JAM meets on Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. A typical night at Club JAM is spent building up our relationship with God and each other. This is done through worship, teaching, small groups and game time.
Breakfast and Bible study, or B & B, is a great option for students to study God’s word. B & B is held at the home of one of our leaders. It starts out with a full breakfast and social time and ends with a 30 minute study time.
Club JAM uses outreach events to encourage students to bring their friends to church. Outreach events for Club JAM include Friday night game nights, Wolves and Flyers games and retreats. Our first retreat is our annual Fall Fest Retreat. We also participate in Timber-lee Christian Center’s Winter Xtreme retreat.
Club ROCK is the name of the High School Youth Ministry. ROCK stands for “Refuge of Christ’s Kingdom.” When students come to Club ROCK we want it to be a place of refuge for them – a place where they are safe to find out about God’s incredible love for them and where they are free to express their faith in God. Club Rock meets on Wednesday nights from 7-9 pm to worship and study God’s Word together.
Small Groups meet throughout the week at either homes or the church. They are led by one or more of our Club ROCK adult staff and are open for any high school student to join.
Student Ministry & Worship is the place where students get plugged into different areas of ministry. We currently have six teams that are broken into two groups. Worship Team – Drama, Tech, Band – works to plan Wednesday nights as well as some special events. Ministry team – Inreach, Outreach and Prayer – plan events and trips geared to promote unity within the group or to reach out to friends and our community. Each team in the two groups are lead by an adult Coach and student Captains.
Sunday School meets on Sundays from 9:30-10:45 am in the Club ROCK room.
Throughout the year we have several retreats and trips including rock climbing at Devil’s Lake, WI, winter ski trips, missions trips to Costa Rica, and the bi-annual student conference, Challenge. You’ll also find the students planning service projects, lock-ins, game nights, and trips to baseball games or Great America!
