Kelly accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 5 while attending a 5-day Bible Club in her own backyard. She was baptized at the age of 8. She was raised in a Christian home and was very involved in church from a young age. Kelly holds a Bachelor degree in Liberal Studies with a teaching credential in Elementary Education. VCB Children’s' Ministries provide a place to express her love for children and use her teaching experience as a function of the body of Christ. It is a great joy to build up little children in the love of Jesus. Kelly also plays flute in the church orchestra and home schools her three children. Kelly and her husband, Mike, have been at Village Church since 1996. They both began teaching in the preschool program at that time. Kelly became Church Time Preschool Director in 1999. She firmly believes in the blessings that come from cultivating a rich godly heritage in our families. Deut. 7:9 “…he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.”
