Tim has been on staff at the Village church since September 2002.  He grew up in the majestic mountains of  western Canada, met his wife in the majestic mountains of Europe and has settled on the not-so-majestic urban sprawl of the Midwest. Tim sensed a calling to worship ministry during high school and pursued training at a Bible school in Germany and then the Moody Bible Institute. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in music and has been using his training ever since. . . be encouraged parents! 

He has a small (but growing) collection of interesting instruments—two of his favorites being an oud and a sparkly green accordion.  Although music is definitely a passion of his, Tim’s other interests are pretty broad.  He loves sports of any kind, ethnic food, traveling, reading, and hanging out with his family and friends.  During the week you will find him rehearsing, practicing, writing, planning, or trying to adjust the heating/air conditioning controls.  Tim and his wife Sara have three kids and live in Fox River Grove.
