Pastor Jim Crouter

Jim has been on staff at Village Church since 1993.  After 15 years of youth ministry, Jim graduated.  He now serves as our Pastor of Communications and Young Adults.  Jim loves hanging out on Sunday nights with the Tribe (college and young adults), talking about life, theology, computers, cars or whatever else might come up. 

 During the week you can find him at the church (if you look hard enough) fixing someone's computer, or setting up AV for the next big event, or videotaping something wacky for the Youth Pastor, or just helping someone out in some way.  Jim loves using his gifts to help others be succcessful in ministy.

On Sundays you'll probably catch him in The Gathering, our video venue service, where he acts as lead Pastor and Tech dude.

Jim, his wife, Sharon, and their two sons, Ben and Jonathan have lived in Lake Zurich pretty much ever since they moved here from California 17 years ago.
