Jennifer Burns

Jennifer currently wears two hats at the Village Church of Barrington.  She is both the Interim Children and Family Ministries Director and the Director of Homeschool Ministries. 

She has been the adoring wife of David Burns for the past 15 years and blessed mom of Ryan (13), Bradley (8), and Nicholas (3).  She became a believer and was baptized when her oldest was two years old and is so thankful that God called her to Himself.  

Jennifer has a passion for helping children reach their God-given potential, which she believes is so much higher than the world believes they can reach.  It was this passion that God used to ignite a desire in her to raise up her own children in the way that they should go and help others do the same.  She is honored to be able to serve our Lord, partner with Christian parents, and encourage and challenge the next generation through the ministries of the Village Church of Barrington.  She holds Galatians 6:9-10 close to her heart, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."
