John Vosnos

After 25 years as a senior pastor in Lake Forest, IL and Minneapolis, MN, John joined the pastoral staff of VBC in 1998 as Associate Pastor, Adult Ministries. John is passionate about helping people discover their identity in Christ through life-transforming learning, discipleship, home small groups and servant-evangelism. He has developed ministries and ministry teams to provide a variety of opportunities for these. His many years of pastoral ministry have made him a great resource of wise counsel and direction for many in the congregation.

Among his many interests, John enjoys travel and has relished the opportunities for ministry-related excursions to Israel and Kenya, sabbatical studies in Cambridge, England, and tracking the missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul in Greece and Asia Minor (Turkey). John has completed his first book for publication, Getting into Jesus' Life.

He and his wife, Gayle, love and enjoy their three grown children and two grandchildren.
