Bristol Ministries

Bristol Ministries was founded on September 17, 2002 with its mission to minister to residents in nearby nursing homes. Bristol Ministries is first and foremost a Bible Study and also provides a variety of programs and activities for the residents of local nursing homes.

This is why Bristol Ministries is so very important for the residents that live in the nursing homes. They need love, peace, joy, and hope. They need someone to visit with them and make them feel like they still matter and that they are loved and important. They need God!

This is exactly what we offer the residents that we visit through Bristol Ministries. We have been blessed to do this for over fifteen years! We tell the residents about God and how to know Jesus as their Savior. We read from God’s Word, study the Bible, and give them encouragement.

Mission: 

Bristol Ministries' Activities:
  • Read and study the Bible
  • Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Sing/play Christian hymns and songs
  • Prayer
  • Encourage the residents to ask questions and make comments
  • Provide fellowship and one-on-one visits
  • Supply Bibles, devotionals, and other Christian materials
  • Provide Christian games and other recreation
  • Offer special projects and programs such as visits by youth groups, music, concerts, and more!
