“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength and with all your mind’;
and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
Luke 10:27
Women of His Word announces our Fall Bible Study Ministry beginning the week of September 14th! Lord willing, we will be having classes both on campus and via Zoom. Please note:
•Registration will be REQUIRED for every woman planning to attend in person or on Zoom so that we will have the head count for those on campus, the email information for those joining via Zoom and contact information as needed.
•As of now, masks will be required for those attending on campus. We will make adjustments as the situation changes.
*Lord willing, we are hoping to offer childcare for the Tuesday morning studies, so please include your children’s info when you register. We will follow up with specific directions as we get closer to the start date.
DISCIPLESHIP BIBLE STUDIES: THE GOSPEL OF JOHN (Monday night, 7 – 8:45, Tuesday morning, 9:30 – 11:30 and Tuesday night, 6:30 – 8:15) On Campus and on Zoom. No Child Care for Monday or Tuesday evening classes.
This September, we will continue our journey of a verse by verse study through the Gospel of John! We will continue to focus on Jesus as our Savior, our Creator and our living example: All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. (John 6:37 - 38) In our discipleship Bible studies, teaching time is followed by discussion and prayer in a smaller group so that we may flesh out the application and walk through accountability.

TEACHER(S): Monday PM and Tuesday AM – Carol Jenkins; Tuesday PM – Val Stutz

PRECEPTS: A STUDY OF THE BOOK OF HEBREWS (Tuesday 9:15 – 11:30 AM) on Zoom only. No Child Care for Precepts Zoom Class.
Beginning September 8th, our Precept study will resume our study of the book of Hebrews. We look forward to growing in our faith as we study the relationship between the two covenants as explained in the Old and New Testaments and how Jesus, our great High Priest, fulfills the Law’s requirements.
We are again offering two workbook options. The Precept Upon Precept format provides five daily lessons for each week, each lesson taking about an hour. A second option, the In and Out format, is a streamlined approach to the same material, requiring fewer hours of weekly study. If you are new to Precepts, a mentor can be provided to walk you through the first few lessons. Finding time to study may seem daunting, but developing the habit of regularly spending time in God’s word brings inestimable blessing. Whichever format you choose, you will experience “ah-ha” moments as you discover truth, be encouraged as you share the relevance of your discoveries, and be challenged by teaching that “goes deep” in application to today’s culture. For more information and to order a workbook, contact Marilynn Helms at mrhelms@msn.com

Paul's letter to the church at Philippi was written as he was held in a Roman prison to people who were also experiencing difficult times. Still he wrote words of encouragement and assurance of the true sources of joy: knowing Jesus Christ as the one who can provide real joy in the midst of uncertain circumstances. This study gives an opportunity to discover and experience transformation in Christ which brings deep satisfaction and hope. Topics will include the search for joy, the joy of fellowship, integrity, ministry, security and serenity.
