Global Impact Team
God invites us to become involved with Him in His global work: "...and you will be My witnesses, in Jerusalem, all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8). The Global Impact Team (GIT) oversees the overall global mission effort of our church.

The Village Church of Barrington Global Impact Team (VCB GIT) desires to follow the model of ministry given to us by Jesus, which includes ministry to the whole person, not just to their spiritual need. This model means demonstrating by our lives the compassion of Jesus for all kinds of needs and people as well as developing relationships in order to speak into people's lives that Jesus truly is the only way back to God.
~20% of our budget goes to ministry outside our walls.
Regional Impact:
VCB supports missionaries (individuals and families) from Christian agencies in various regions of the United States. They serve on college and university campuses, in prisons, and in a variety of other ministries.
Global Impact:
VCB supports individual missionaries from Christian agencies in 15 countries around the world, serving in evangelism, church planting, Bible translation, medical teaching, music, and state-of-the-art technology.
